Date Corona version: The dating app Tinder has launched a video calling option, known as "Face to Face".
The new feature has been tested in recent months in several countries and is now available to all users around the world, including Israel.
How It Works?
Once you have a match, both you and the other party will have to confirm the video call option.
not interested?
You can turn off the feature or exit at any point, in case you feel like you are talking to a non-potential person.
In the meantime, in order to avoid the possibility of harassment in advance, at the end of the chat you will be able to respond to short feedback, thus reporting users who have caused you inconvenience or are making improper use of the platform. On the other hand, Tinder did not address or specify how they are going to protect users during an active video call, and it seems that in the end the consideration will be the responsibility of the user.
