"And everyone hates confinement."
A spontaneous “anti-containment” demonstration erupted at Place de la République in Paris this Thursday evening.
Between 150 and 200 people, without any distinctive or rallying signs, paraded singing anti-containment slogans, some shouted “Macron resignation”, others “French people wake up”.
Contacted by Le Parisien the Paris Police Prefecture, was informed of the situation and was in the process of intervention to "control" this undeclared event.
Witnesses on the spot noted the few police officers.
The procession moves constantly and had taken the direction of the Forum des Halles, then the station Étienne Marcel.
A surprise demonstration as the new national confinement begins at midnight on Thursday night and the curfew began at 9 p.m. in Paris.

In Toulouse too, hundreds of people were taking part in an anti-containment procession this early evening Thursday.
The same slogans were heard there as in Paris.
"And everyone hates confinement" chanted protesters in the Pink City.
The demonstrators called out to the public and called for “reinforcements”.
