The mother of the child Angelina Seine, aged 23, was for her part sentenced to 30 years of criminal imprisonment.

His sentence was also accompanied by 18 years of security.

This Friday morning, at the end of five days of trial, the Advocate General had requested life imprisonment against the main accused, speaking of a "crime of exceptional savagery" and 20 years against the young mother who "attended killing her child and did nothing ”.

Violence comparable to a "road accident"

The Advocate General recalled that nearly a hundred recent bruises had been found all over the body of the child, who died of a burst liver in the camera of a hotel room in Lunel (Hérault ) on February 14, 2017. Doctors on the stand compared what the baby had suffered to the violence of a “traffic accident”.

"You judge the massacre of a child whose torment will have lasted four and a half months, you judge child torturers", launched the Advocate General.

"This trial is that of a savage and an unworthy mother who let it go," said Mr. Gutierrez, speaking of a "toxic, destructive couple who will martyr, sacrifice" Kenzo.

The attorney general returned to a "chilling video" of December 15, 2016 where we see the naked baby on the ground in a vacant lot and Teddy Maton pretend to run over him with his vehicle at night, the headlights on the child while Angelina Seine films.

He also focused on "an episode that terrorizes", January 21, 2017, when Teddy Maton is accused of having burned the left thumb of the little boy in the 3rd degree with a lighter.

"It's going to end badly, you scare me"

The attorney general read strings of insults, death threats, incitement to hit the child contained in messages from Teddy Maton to his companion, noting that she was also hit.

"It's going to end badly, you scare me," Angelina wrote to her companion a few days before the child's death.

"My son and I, we are not your heartache", warns the young woman with a chaotic course since childhood, from abandonment to placement in homes and foster families, then prostitution and drugs.

The Advocate General considered "appalling" that the various doctors who saw the child, in particular for a serious burn, did not report ill-treatment.

Sylvain, the father of the child, also explained at the bar having tried in vain to sound all the alarm bells with the authorities.

"Regarding the murder of her child, it is a mother, it is a victim", assured during her plea Me Sophie Bonnaud, one of the lawyers of Angelina Seine.

The defense of Teddy Maton for its part overwhelmed his ex-girlfriend, who was not prosecuted for murder.

"There is a secret, a mystery in this room", assured Me Guy Debuisson, affirming that the mother was the one who had "given the fatal blows" and that the doubt existing according to him on the guilt of his client should lead to an acquittal.
