Masks from the 3D printer, disinfection tunnels or protective attachments for the fingers - at the first nationwide trade fair for corona protection "pro.vention" in Erfurt there are numerous concepts that are intended to reduce the risk of infection at events and in everyday life.

Werner Wiesner, hygiene handle

"So, it's a very simple principle: Instead of the handle, you now take your upper or lower arm and open the door."

The aim of many concepts: To minimize personal contact between staff and guests or customers.

There are automated temperature measuring stations including hand disinfection and, of course, robots in various variants.

"Thank you for wearing a mask."

This little device is called "Jaime".

It recognizes whether people are wearing a mask and, if in doubt, points out the hygiene regulations.

This somewhat larger mask is intended to protect people who wear glasses from fogged glasses.

Markus Zabel, Löwenstein Medical

"Internal and external protection of the mask, 100 percent leak-free.

The mask is reusable, can be sterilized for up to 30 cycles and because it is leak-free, the glasses do not fog up."

Around 120 exhibitors will present their products by Friday evening.

A conference accompanies the fair - here scientists, politicians and business representatives advise on effective protective measures against the corona virus.
