For the only explanation for her fabrication, the 15-year-old teenager, who scarified herself, argued "that she was not feeling well.

She had been discovered by a passer-by Thursday around 9 am, according to firefighters, "half naked" and "prostrate" in a bush in the park.

A teenage girl, found naked Thursday in a park in Échirolles (Isère) and who claimed to have been kidnapped and raped, admitted to having "totally invented" her story, the Grenoble prosecutor's office said on Friday.

"She indicates to have made herself scarifications and the medical examination did not reveal any traces of sexual violence", specifies the public prosecutor Eric Vaillant in a press release.

The only explanation for her fabrication, the 15-year-old teenager argued "that she was not feeling well now".

Traces of blows to the face

The young girl presented traces of punches in the face and superficial blows of the cutter on the skin, according to the firefighters intervened on the spot.

She had explained to the police that she had been kidnapped an hour earlier in Claix, to the south of the Grenoble metropolitan area, by "three hooded men" who allegedly took her into a wood in a vehicle.

There, she was reportedly beaten, tortured with a cutter and raped before being released in the park.

The prosecution opened an investigation Thursday for kidnapping, kidnapping, acts of torture and rape of a minor.

The teenager will now be heard for "denunciation of an imaginary offense", an offense punishable by six months' imprisonment and a fine of 7,500 euros.
