The child, luckily, was only slightly injured in the foot. An investigation was opened to identify the author of the shootings.

Was it a shot meant to kill?

Or just to impress opponents?

One thing is certain, the girl who was one of its collateral victims may well remember it for a long time.

In the night from Friday to Saturday, about fifteen shots were fired near the city of Rosiers, in the fourteenth arrondissements of Marseille, reports the daily La Provence.

Contrary to the usual regulations which undermine the metropolis, this one did not kill, but a very young indirect victim.

The newspaper reports that the bullet impact from at least one of the gunshots blew up the window in the bedroom where a 3-year-old girl slept.

Luckily, the latter was only slightly injured in the foot by one of the pieces of glass coming out of the window.

An injured man?

The investigation, opened to determine the origin of these shots, was entrusted to the criminal brigade of the judicial police of Marseille.

The latter may have a lead: in the night, a man went to the hospital, due to a gunshot wound to the leg, relates La Provence, which specifies that his vital prognosis is not engaged.

“For the moment, it is not certain that he was really targeted.

We may still be in the presence of guys who pass, who shoot to impress, not really to kill, "commented a police source to the newspaper.

In 2016, a stone's throw from the theater of this drama, in the Consolat city, a stray bullet had nestled in the lower back of a 14-year-old girl who was walking her dog with her mother, plunging her in a worrying state of health.

Two men, 22 and 24, died in the shooting.
