Kia Stonik GT Lane, Toyota for 7 passengers, Sportback for e-tron and redesigned Tiguan

Talkar, Kia's importer to Israel, announces the start of marketing the new Stonik crossover, and the GT LINE finish level is added to the offer.

The engine of this 1.0-liter version delivers 100 hp and 17.5 kg (as opposed to the more powerful versions of their 120 hp engine), which should be more economical. The gearbox is a dual-clutch with 7 gears.

GT LINE finish level Which replaces the premium trim level on offer, gets a host of sporty embellishments, from the bumpers to the rear diffuser as well as the design elements in the cabin, along with the enhancement of the other two trim levels - the basic LX and the EX intermediate level.

The Stonik prices are NIS 118,000 for the EX finish level and the GT LINE finish level will cost NIS 123,000.

Headlights in the new golf look for Tiguan

The compact Volkswagen Jeep that received a facelift several months ago arrived in Israel.

The exterior changes are very subtle, new bumpers, lighting units with a modern look and tail the most noticeable change is the inscription of the model name in large on the trunk door.

The Tiguan's finish levels have also been updated, with the names of the Comfortline and Comfortline Plus finish levels being replaced by Life and Life Plus.

New accessories have been added to the base version's equipment and it will now include steering wheel control of the gears, a top view on the windshield, a wireless charging surface for mobile, keyless opening and propulsion, a rear camera and front and rear parking sensors.

Tiguan's prices are NIS 175,000 for the Life trim level and NIS 200,000 for the Life Plus trim level.

Finally a 7-seater crossover for Toyota's official importer

Toyota Highlander

After success in the parallel import channel and after Toyota enabled its marketing in Europe, the Toyota Highlander's road to Israel was also paved with the official import of Union Motors.

The Highlander, which is the fourth generation larger than the Rab 4 in all dimensions and competes with models like the Kia Sorrento and Hyundai Santa Fe (both of which are facing replacement with the latest models).

Like the two Koreans, it will offer 7 seats, a solution that has been lacking in the draft product offerings in Israel so far (except for the outrageously expensive Land Cruiser), in contrast to both, it will offer a unique combination for it - a dual and hybrid propulsion system.

The engine is a 2.5-liter gasoline to which an electric unit that propels the front wheels is coupled and another electric unit propels the rear wheels.

The combined power stands at 244 hp and makes it very agile with 8.4 seconds per 100 km / h.

Hybrid, dual propulsion and 7-seater are his unique offering

In the list of equipment: electric charging, 8-inch screen, compatibility with Apple and Android, electric direction for the driver's seat, separate climate control for those sitting in the back and more.

At the high level of finish the E-XCLUSIVE joins a panoramic roof, electric trunk opening and leather upholstery.

Safety systems include automatic braking to detect pedestrians and cyclists (cyclists only during the day), adaptive cruise control with the option of adjusting to speed signs, correcting lane departure control, controlling the intensity of the lights, warning of a vehicle in "dead space" and warning of a cross vehicle behind.

The prices of the highlander start at NIS 290,000 for the E-MOTION and NIS 305,000 for the equipped E-XCLUSIVE.

These are the prices that put it at the seam between tools like the Hyundai Santa Fe and Kia Sorrento and significantly larger vehicles (but without hybrid propulsion) like the new and excellent Subaru Evoltis and also the old Chevrolet Traverse.

By the way Evoltis, just like the Highlander is manufactured in Indiana United States, and from there it will arrive when the first units land here in a few weeks.

Be careful of its tail - Audi Audi e-tron Sportback

Audi e-tron Sportback

After the successful entry of the Audi e-tron into the electric-premium market, another vehicle configuration is added to the offer - the Sportback.

The model is completely identical mechanically to the e-tron and differs from it only in the different body.

The designed roof and tail charge a price in the headroom that drops by 1.5 cm to 161.5 cm and the trunk that stands at 615 liters (45 liters less than the regular e-tron).

On the other hand, Audi reports an improvement in the drag coefficient, but surprisingly, the driving range is shorter and stands at 381 km compared to the declared range of 435 km in the regular model according to the WLTP standard.

The propulsion unit is the same, two electric motors with a combined power of 408 hp that jump it to 100 km / h in 5.7 seconds and up to a maximum speed of 200 km / h.

First driving: Audi e-tron

The equipment list of the e-tron Sportback also remains a failure of this in the e-tron almost completely. Dual screen layout in the center console, electric trunk door, 12.3-inch dashboard, leather upholstery for the electrified seats, air dampers and more. The luxury package also adds a B&O audio system with 16 speakers, multimedia control from the rear seats, heating and ventilation for the front seats and rims that rise from a size of 20 to 21 inches.

What the Sportback lacks are the side cameras that replace the mirrors (an option that is definitely recommended to give up). It does offer for the first time in the world the Digital Matrix LED lighting system as an option. Using about a million micro-mirrors, the system allows control over the intensity and direction of the lighting, or in simple words, maximum lighting for the driver with a minimum of glare for others.

Price: NIS 546,000, an additional NIS 25,000 compared to the e-tron.
