The dancer's companion, the artist Mikael Corcessin-Dervin, was indicted for murder. He had first mentioned a disappearance

At first, it was a disappearance.

On June 16, 2018, Mikael Corcessin-Dervin, 40-year-old cabaret singer and actor, alerted the gendarmerie.

His companion, Aline Sepret, a 36-year-old dancer he met on stage and with whom he has lived since 2014, disappeared overnight.

Maeky Sieme - her nickname on the boards - presents the face of a worried companion: he multiplies the calls to relatives of the young woman, sends worried SMS to his companion, posts a call for help on Facebook.

In front of the investigators, he develops the story of a harmonious couple.

The same evening, the charred body of the dancer was discovered in her car in Taluyers (Rhône).

In Mikael Corcessin-Dervin's story, the disappearance becomes a tragic domestic accident.

In custody, he wears the costume of the grieving husband, evokes an unfortunate fall of Aline, who slipped and scratched his face before hitting a step.

"I remembered that she wanted to be cremated", explains the forty-something to explain his choice to slip the remains of his companion into a car before setting it on fire.

Placed in detention, the intermittent of the show is held to this version for a year.

In July 2019, a turnaround.

"I regret to agree with you as to my responsibility in the death of my wife, Aline," he wrote to the examining magistrate.

I violently pushed Aline, who fell over a chair in the kitchen and hit a staircase ”.

The domestic accident becomes manslaughter.

Traces of an antidepressant and a piece of tissue

Two years after the death of the 30-something, the situation has changed.

During the month of June 2020, Mikael Corcessin-Dervin was indicted for “murder” by the judge who took control of the case.

"For my clients, it is a relief to see that justice joins what they have always suspected, namely that Aline Sepret was killed and that this act was premeditated", underlines Me Patrick Uzan, the lawyer of family.

To reclassify the facts, the judge was particularly interested in the toxicological analyzes of the dancer.

The victim's blood thus contained traces of amitriptyline (an antidepressant and pain reliever), a product known to cause severe lethargy.

Residues of this drug, prescribed to Mikael Corcessin-Dervin after a car accident, were also discovered in a stemmed glass and a vodka shot found in the sink at the couple's home.

Glasses that the show's intermittent had served his companion on her return from work.

He had also cut the vodka with grenadine.

An effective way to "counter the bitterness of the drug," says the examining magistrate.

“I did not add anything to the glass, however continues to affirm Mikael Corcessin-Dervin.

When I met Aline, she self-medicated.

"

But another disturbing element has come, in recent days, to strengthen the suspicions against the singer of the cabaret.

The analysis of a piece of tissue discovered in Aline's mouth reveals "the presence of a seam or holes resembling those of a belt".

However, a forensic expert consulted in November 2019 had ruled out the hypothesis of a fall and concluded that the death of the young woman was due to "mechanical asphyxiation".

The track now favored by the magistrate is therefore that of a strangulation using a belt on a victim previously drugged to avoid any resistance.

The forty-year-old would then have burned the body so as not to leave a trace.

Questioned in June on this version of the night of June 16, 2018, the suspect assured that he did not have “other memories that came back”.

To be alone without her would have been "unbearable"

One question remains: why the forty-something would have wanted to kill this woman who had "caught the eye" and whom he "loved much more over the years"?

The evening of her death, Aline Sepret had discovered a secret mailbox of her companion, thanks to which he exchanged with other women.

The couple had nevertheless promised, after the singer's first infidelities, total "transparency".

Aline had she planned to leave this fickle man with whom she was no longer fulfilled?

"When she discovered this mailbox, she was angry and yelled at me extensively", admitted the singer in June before clarifying his thoughts in a disturbing way: "To find myself alone without her would have been difficult to bear.

In fact, unbearable.

"

Contacted, Damien Legrand and Loïc Bussy, lawyers for Mikael Corcessin-Dervin, did not wish to speak.
