Jonathan Geffen and Yoni Rechter wrote "The Most Beautiful Girl in Kindergarten" in the late 1970s, and since then the song has become an Israeli classic.
This week, for the first time, he also arrived in France, thanks to a spoken and glorious French version prepared for him by Anat Moskowski, an Israeli musician living in Paris.
Moshkovsky's voice is as heavenly as ever, but did we really need a remake of this song?
Isn't a discourse on "The Most Beautiful Girl" something more appropriate for the year of the cult hit's release, and a little less appropriate now?
This question was raised at the beginning of the weekly conversation between Meitar Schleider Potschnik and Avner Shavit as part of the Walla Culture podcast.

More on the menu: Why "Rehearsals" is such a recommended series, and why "What I Want" by Ella deserves all the praise as well, but there is still something annoying.
And for dessert: what should be the point of view in the remake of "Forget Me At Home," which celebrated its thirtieth anniversary this week?
