The Hamilton Group, an importer of Shiomi, will open a concept store as a street store and not inside a shopping center.

In the coming weeks, the new store will open on Rothschild Street in Rishon Lezion, and it will cover an area of about 100 square meters. The new branch will be the first to also incorporate a laboratory that will provide fast repair services for the company's products.

In the opening of the new store, which was renovated over the past month, about NIS 600,000 was invested and it will offer customers a wide range of smart products from the Chinese brand.

Eyal Aharoni, Shiomi's concept store manager, says that "the planning to open another store came up even before the outbreak of the corona plague, but the decision on the location was made during the second closure."

"The slow traffic during the closures allowed us to invest in online sales, which increased significantly. There is no doubt that the choice of location for the new store was due in part to the fact that the malls are still closed and I hope the government decides soon to open them," Aharoni added.

Shiomi is the third largest smartphone maker in the world according to data from the third quarter of 2020 published by the research institute Counterpoint Research and the second in the market share in the smartphone category in Israel from the third quarter of this year, according to a report by research company Canalis.
