The coronavirus epidemic continues to hit France.
396 people have died from Covid-19 in hospital since yesterday, bringing the toll to 51,914 victims including those who died in nursing homes and medico-social establishments, announced Santé Publique France and the Ministry of Health on Friday, November 27 .

12,459 new cases have been detected in the past 24 hours.
The day before, 13,563 people had tested positive.
A total of 10,172 new hospitalizations were recorded over the last 7 days, including 1,557 in intensive care.
28,648 people are currently hospitalized, including 3,883 in intensive care.
The positivity rate continues to decrease: it stands this Friday at 11.7%.
3,724 “
clusters
”, or epidemiological centers, are being investigated, including 1,589 in nursing homes.
100 departments are in a situation of high vulnerability.
