The police officers implicated in the beating of Michel Zecler in Paris were indicted on the night from Sunday to Monday in accordance with the requisitions of the Public Prosecutor's Office.
According to our information, two of them (the 44-year-old brigadier and a peacekeeper) were remanded in custody.
The third (a peacekeeper) was placed under judicial supervision.
A fourth policeman had also been indicted a little earlier and placed under judicial supervision, he is the one who is suspected of having thrown the grenade in the studio.
The first three police officers, those seen on the Loopsider video unveiled Thursday which led the Head of State Emmanuel Macron to denounce a "shame", were indicted for "willful violence by a person holding public authority ( PDAP) ”and“ false in public writing ”.
This in accordance with the requisitions of the Paris prosecutor's office announced by the public prosecutor Rémy Heitz on Sunday afternoon.

The fourth police officer, the one suspected of having thrown the tear gas canister in the music studio of the 17th arrondissement where the attack occurred, was indicted mainly for "willful violence" by PDAP on Michel Zecler and on the nine young people who were in the basement of the studio.
He justified his gesture by his ignorance of the context, believing that he was called in as reinforcement for an operation aimed at arresting a wanted and entrenched individual, and "the confusion" which reigned there.
The prosecution requested pre-trial detention for the first three and judicial review for the fourth.
The lawyers of the group of three, Me Anne-Laure Compoint who defends two and Me Jean-Christophe Ramadier who defends one, did not wish to comment on these challenges at the end of the hearing of the judge of freedoms and of detention, around 4:30 a.m.
