4,005 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, health authorities say.
Like every Monday, the number of new cases is lower than during the week due to the closure of laboratories on weekends.
The positivity of the tests continues to decline with a rate of 10.9% (11.1% Sunday, 11.4% Saturday, 11.7% Friday, 12.2% Thursday and 13% Wednesday).
408 hospital deaths have also been recorded since yesterday, bringing the death toll to 52,731 in France since the start of the epidemic.

1251 patients have been admitted to hospital in the last 24 hours and 196 patients have been transferred to intensive care units.
In total, 28,258 people are hospitalized (55 less than yesterday) and 3,751 are in intensive care (5 less than Sunday).
According to Public Health France, 3,724 clusters are still under investigation, including 1,589 in nursing homes.
