Two middle school students aged 11 and 13 were slightly injured and a third, aged 11, was being extricated, according to the gendarmerie.

They were taken care of by the emergency services.

Snow-Ice Yellow Warning

The other children were taken by minibus to a village hall where their parents can pick them up.

A medico-psychological unit has been opened, according to France 3.

The roads are currently particularly snow-covered in Haut-Doubs, a department classified as snow-ice yellow vigilance by Météo France.

The bus left the road alone after passing another vehicle, firefighters said.
