A school bus accident occurred Tuesday morning in Doubs, a department in the grip of heavy snowfall, and three teenagers were injured, including one more seriously, we learned from the gendarmerie.
The school bus, which was transporting 30 students aged 11 to 16 to their establishment, lay down on the side of a departmental road in Labergement-Sainte-Marie around 8:30 am, the same source said.

Two middle school students aged 11 and 13 were slightly injured and a third, aged 11, was being extricated, according to the gendarmerie.
They were taken care of by the emergency services.
Snow-Ice Yellow Warning
The other children were taken by minibus to a village hall where their parents can pick them up.
A medico-psychological unit has been opened, according to France 3.
The roads are currently particularly snow-covered in Haut-Doubs, a department classified as snow-ice yellow vigilance by Météo France.
The bus left the road alone after passing another vehicle, firefighters said.

The gendarmerie specified that the vehicle was equipped with snow tires and that "the driver was negative for narcotics and alcohol tests".
