The approximately 750,000 elderly people residing in nursing homes must be vaccinated as soon as the "very
first doses
" of vaccine against Covid-19 arrive, believes the High Authority for Health (HAS) in its recommendations on the vaccine strategy.
For Gaël Durel, president of the National Association of coordinating physicians in nursing homes and medico-social care, we must however wait to learn more about the effects of vaccines on the elderly.
