A double middle finger, which could well not be without consequences.
On Tuesday, the Northern Police Twitter account announced that it had opened an internal investigation for unusual facts.
Its services are in fact looking for the policeman author of a double middle finger which appears on an image taken by a Google car in the streets of Roubaix, in order to map and display the city in images on Google maps.
After learning that a questionable GoogleMaps image from the summer of 2019 was posted on social networks, likely to represent one of its agents, the North DDSP opened an internal investigation into individual behavior , which she necessarily disapproves of.

If the image, taken in the summer of 2019 rue Voltaire in Roubaix, cannot be found on the site today, it was relayed on November 12 on a Twitter account “Best of Google map”, until reaching the national police.
A blurry face and plaque
“After learning that a questionable GoogleMaps image of the summer of 2019 was posted on social networks, likely to represent one of its agents, the DDSP (departmental directorate of public security) of the North opened an internal investigation with regard to individual behavior, which she necessarily disapproves, ”she wrote on Twitter.
According to La Voix du Nord, the investigations are being carried out by the department of “ethics, discipline, applications and methods” of the DDSP, in order to identify the crew photographed and thus the author of the obscene gesture.
The task is likely to be complicated: in the image, the face of the policeman is blurred, as well as the license plate of the vehicle in which he is, as Google image is used to doing.
