Claude Tendil: "Cancer, a major health issue, with minor resources"

INTERVIEW - For the president of the ARC Foundation, Covid-19 has pushed cancer into the background, while it remains by far the leading cause of death in France.


Claude Tendil has been President of the ARC Foundation for Cancer Research since June 2018, where he succeeded Michel Pébereau.

A graduate of HEC and Sciences Po, this former insurer, who has led groups such as Axa, Generali France or Europ Assistance, is a man of convictions and commitments.

He worked for a long time within the Dialogues association, which brings together business leaders and trade unionists, and Medef, where he was responsible for the social pole.
