2020-12-03T11:44:15.574Z

INFOGRAPHIC - Thirty storms were recorded over the North Atlantic in 2020, including 13 hurricanes. A year that breaks the sad record of 2005.

By convention, the hurricane season ends on November 30.

Their wandering and evil eye closes for the winter until the spring of the following year, giving way to the results of their passage.

In 2020, they will never have been so numerous to hover over the North Atlantic.

Thirty storms were significant enough to be named by weather monitoring services, with 23 over the Northwest Pacific and 16 over the Northeast Pacific.

That is a total of 74 in the Northern Hemisphere.

A record never reached.
