In line for iPhone users in Israel: From now on, official screen replacement within hours
After Apple authorized one laboratory in Israel for the official repair of iPhone screens, Idigital now announces that it has received approval from Apple to carry out the repairs in an authorized manner in the company's stores as well.

Three years ago, Apple made it possible for the first time to repair original screens in Israel using the mask of one laboratory, while today (Wednesday) Apple allows Digital to officially replace a screen in the company's branches.
Starting in January 2021, Idigital will offer screen replacement in nine branches, and later in additional branches.
"For years, Idigital has been leading the Apple experience in Israel. Apple's new certification now allows us to make a change in the screen repair market in Israel. Thanks to the deployment of 18 branches and being an authorized laboratory, we can produce for the first time in Israel, a quick option for official repair and original parts," Rosen, CEO of Idigital.

Thus, for the first time in Israel, it will be possible to switch to an original screen within a few hours and up to 24 hours at most.
The laboratories to be set up in the branches are all approved by Apple and meet the service standards it has set, meaning water and dust resistance will be maintained even when replacing the screen, including continued use of the Touch and Face ID function (biometric face and finger recognition), which is automatically canceled when replacing a non-original screen.
Another user will be able to continue to enjoy a full manufacturer's warranty, when in exchange for a private lab, he actually waives it.
At this point Idigital has not yet announced final prices, of the repair costs, and it is not clear whether they will be cheaper or more expensive than the existing repairs.
She also noted that it will be possible to repair iPhones that have also been purchased abroad, as long as they support the Israeli standard, and the repair will take place for old models, from the iPhone 6S to the new iPhones.
