Shooter games are usually considered their own biggest enemy.

After all, when it comes to FPS - a first-person shooter game - it's one of the oldest (and favorite) genres in the gaming industry, a genre that has already seen it all and renewed it all, which is why it's so hard for it to line up with every new game that comes out.

This, of course, until this year, when the Call of Duty series reinvented itself, first with the Warzone, and now with the game for which we have gathered here today, Black Ops Cold War.

We have already seen period games that dealt with the Cold War, but none are as impressive, comprehensive and fun as this game.

We’ve already seen shooting games with a plot full of twists and surprises, but no one is as rich as this one.

The creators of the game managed to introduce innovative elements even in the campaign, the story mode of the game, which traditionally in a voice of duty was considered stenciled and quite predictable.

For example, the evidence and intelligence materials you will find in the various stages have real meaning, and they will lead you to reveal side missions to the main story.

This is in contrast to previous games where you were asked to collect "Intel" just to mark V for a useless task.

In addition, you will find campaign properties of "puzzle", such as a code that you will have to crack if you want to open another side task, and the clues to the code you will find in the various stages.

Another nice innovation in your campaign is the ability to choose how to respond and behave in different dialogues, although unlike games where the story varies depending on your choice, here the result will always be the same, no matter how you acted, so it's a pretty unnecessary feature.

The multiplayer mode (multiplayer), for which most gamers buy the game, is also innovative with some fascinating game modes, alongside the ability to jump headlong into the water and fight not only in the air or on land.

We found quite a few bugs that are likely to be fixed soon, such as a sound that responds, considerably late to a head injury, for example, or over-pixelated graphics of some of the maps.

It is impossible of course without a few words about the state of such a fun zombie.

Tip from us - play zombies at night, preferably with headphones.

Enjoyment is guaranteed.

Like the previous game, Modern Warfare, Cold War is also characterized by integration with the Warzone, but the transition between the two games is slow and very cumbersome, in contrast to the speed of MW.

As you progress through the main plot and multiplayer, you will develop Cold War characters in Warzone.

In conclusion, the year 2020 is notorious in almost all areas of our lives, but for Call of Duty it is perhaps the most successful year since the series was released 17 years ago, with two real revolutions they have given to the genre, with Warzone, and now also with Cold War.

Enjoyment is guaranteed.
