Did you receive a message from Bezeq?

You are not alone:

in recent days, the company's customers - but not only, receive text messages (SMS messages) to their phone, including various wordings designed to motivate them to action that will eventually steal their credit card number - reports the information security company ESET.

"Sorry, we have restricted features in your account, please update your payment option," the statement said.

Anyone who clicks on the link, comes to a page where they are asked to enter personal details such as ID card and password.

Pay attention - did you click and reach the screen?

Look at the URL in the address bar - it is extremely long, does not include Bezeq's domain and does not look credible in any way.

In the next step, the attackers are asked to type in the other details - such as first name, email, credit card number and telephone number.

Once all the details have been typed, you arrive at Bezeq's real website, which makes the attacker get the feeling that everything is fine.

Did you receive the message?

First and foremost the sweeping recommendation in ESET is not to click on links that came from senders you do not know and of course do not spread the message to other people.

Think maybe this is really her face flash?

Initiate the company's website and check if there is the same request for updating information.

You will probably find that you do not.

Have you already clicked and typed details?

If you entered credit information in one of the links, check the charges and, if necessary, contact the credit company to cancel transactions you did not make, and cancel the card if it is used illegally.
