Those who will have to move to Italy for the holidays at the end of 2020 will have to do so before 20 December or after 7 January, either to go to second homes or to do some tourism: exceptions remain only for specific cases , assistance to non self-sufficient, separated people who meet their minor children, family reunification at the usual home.

This is what the

faq of the Council Presidency on the Dpcm

specify

with the measures for Christmas

(answers to the most frequently asked questions) of the Presidency of the Council, "specific for the period 21 December 2020 - 6 January 2021".

With the clarification that for the rules for shops, restaurants and travel, the distinctions between red, orange and yellow areas remain valid.

- TO ASSIST NOT SELF-SUFFICIENT YOU CAN MOVE

: the "movement to assist non-self-sufficient people will also be allowed from 21 to 6 January, even between municipalities or regions in different areas, where it is not possible to provide them with the necessary assistance through other subjects in the same municipality / region. However, it is not possible to move more than the number of people strictly necessary to provide the necessary assistance: normally the need to provide assistance cannot justify the movement of more than one adult relative, possibly accompanied by minors whom he usually attends ".

- WHO WORKS FAR AWAY CAN RETURN HOME OF THE SPOUSE

: "People who for work reasons live in a place other than that of their spouse or partner, but who meet with it regularly and periodically in the same home, will be able to move reunite for the period from 21 December 2020 to 6 January 2021 in the same house in which they usually find themselves ".

The Faq on the Palazzo Chigi website specify the meanings of "residence", "domicile" and "home": the Dpcm of 3 December 2020 provides, in fact, that, despite the prohibitions, from 21 December to 6 January however, you can return to your residence, domicile or home.

- NO VISITS EVEN TO ELDERLY PARENTS IN GOOD HEALTH FROM 21/12 TO 6/1

: "

Traveling

to visit or to go and live a few days with relatives or friends, including their parents, will be possible for everyone only if moves from one place in the yellow area to another place in the yellow area, exclusively until December 20 and starting from January 7. From December 21 to January 6, these movements will be allowed, always exclusively between places in the yellow area, only if you have the residence or domicile or one's home in the region / autonomous province of destination. On 25 and 26 December and 1 January it will still be possible to move only within one's own municipality. In any case, it will be possible to move between municipalities / provinces / different regions for reasons of work, necessity or health ".

- SEPARATE WILL BE ABLE TO MOVE TO GO TO CHILDREN

: Separated parents or foster parents can move between 21 December and 6 January to go to different municipalities or regions or abroad to spend the holidays with their minor children, in compliance with the provisions of judge or agreements with the other parent.

These trips "are among those motivated by necessity, therefore they are not subject to limitations. In the case of trips to or from abroad, it is however necessary to consult the appropriate section on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for information on the specific health requirements relating to the country from which one comes or must go ".

-OK TOURISM IN ITALY BUT WITHIN 20/1 AND AFTER 7/1 AND ONLY IN YELLOW AREAS

: "Travel for tourism within the national territory is allowed, and in any case only with departure and destination in the yellow area, if the departure takes place by December 20, 2020 or January 7, 2021. Travel for tourism in Italy is not permitted between December 21 and January 6 ".

- MOVEMENTS TO SECOND HOUSES IN A REGION DIFFERENT FROM YOUR OWN

: are allowed only by 20 December and after 7 January and in any case only if the place of departure and destination are both in the yellow area. Therefore, if a family moves to a second home, in another region, by December 20, and one of the members has to return to work in the region of origin for a few days, he will not be able to return to them by January 6. Moving from the second home to the workplace in the period between 21 December and 6 January cannot in fact be used as a justification for a new return to the second home, in another region, in the same period. If you intend to spend the holidays together in a second home in a different region, you will need to be in the same place by 20 December 2020.
