Ares Design, the Modenese company created by Dany Bahar and today directed by co-founder Waleed Al Ghafar, has created a new and interesting custom-built part of the Legends Reborn 'family', the Wami Lalique Spyder, an elegant roadster inspired by the 1950s.

And to make the 12 units planned for this collector's model even more exclusive, Ares has associated - as the name itself shows - with the famous French crystal factory Lalique - a name already known in the 1920s for its precious mascots that adorned i radiator of the most exclusive models - who collaborated on the interior decoration.

Of the Wami Lalique Spyder there are, at the moment, only faithful reconstructions in 3D graphics, but the look of this very elegant 'discovery', whose bodywork will be handmade by combining aluminum and carbon fiber parts, has already aroused the interest of the first wealthy clients.

'' The more the project progresses - said Waleed Al Ghafari - the more we appreciate the beauty and uniqueness of the car we are creating together with Lalique;

it is different from anything we have produced in the past.

The Wami Lalique Spyder will be a real gem: the ultimate luxury accessory.

Those who drive it will be able to appreciate the charm of journeys such as in the 1950s on the French Riviera or on the Amalfi Coast, aboard a magnificent masterpiece of the automobile;

the embodiment of excellence ''.

The evocative styling of this 'discovery' includes a traditional four-pipe exhaust system, small chrome bumper rostrums and spoked wheels which give the vehicle a timeless appearance.

In the interior (and in particular in the center console and door panels) bespoke French-style crystal elements combine with hand-crafted Italian upholstery, creating the perfect blend of craftsmanship and luxury details.

The whole is completed by a dashboard in English oak with white dials, symbol of a mythical era.

Inspired by the best two-seater roadsters, the convertible has been carefully designed by the Ares Style Center, while the crystal details will come from the Lalique factory in Alsace.

Commenting on the first renderings, Silvio Denz, president and CEO of Lalique, said: `` Thanks to the perfect combination of Lalique's bespoke crystal design and Ares Design's level of excellence in automotive design and technology, the car that will result from this collaboration will be the luxury accessory par excellence.

This collaboration perpetuates the work of René Lalique, whose emblematic car mascots are among his iconic creations created during the Roaring Twenties. ''
