A 23-year-old young man was seriously injured by bullets late Saturday afternoon by two individuals traveling on scooters in the northern districts of Marseille, according to information from La Provence, confirmed by AFP.
Suffering from several bullets, the victim was taken to the emergency room with a vital prognosis.
According to Provence, the victim was hit by five projectiles, in the stomach, arms and legs.
The fleeing attackers
The facts took place around 6 p.m. Place Léonard Dalmas in the 14th arrondissement.
After the shooting, the two attackers fled in an unknown direction.
The victim was known to the police for small narcotics cases, but the criminal investigation team remains cautious about the hypothesis of a settlement of accounts linked to drug trafficking.
An investigation is open.
It was entrusted to the judicial police of Marseille.
