You can't know what medications to take if you don't know your illness.
As mayor, I know the ravages of drugs and the dirty money that this underground economy generates.
But I wanted the services of the Ministry of the Interior to be able to quantify the extent of this scourge.
3,952 deal points have been identified and I would like the police and the gendarmerie to attack each of them.
I will communicate every month the number of deal points dismantled in the territory.
Is this the return of the politics of numbers?
Our policy is that of transparency and concrete results.
This is the one that I lead, for example, by reporting on the number of foreign radical Islamists in an irregular situation who are expelled each month.
The same is true of the fight against drugs when I give monthly figures for drug seizures or the number of traffickers arrested.
Publishing the figures of the places of deal, that has no precedent, it is to make work of transparency.
And the goal behind is to account for how many we are dismantling.
When we talk about the economy, we give growth figures, when we fight against drugs, it is the same and that should push us to obtain results.
Even if the way of selling drugs changes, the fight against deal points remains a priority?
