TV personality Lior Schlein and Network 13 reached a compromise as part of the mediation between them, according to which Schlein will receive about NIS 9 million for the cancellation of his program "Back of the Nation" - so say the presenter around
Schlein declined to comment, and no response was received from the network.
In September, it became known that Schlein was demanding NIS 30 million from the 13 chain after his contract with him was canceled.
The production company "Albino Productions", which produced "Gev HaUma", claimed in the lawsuit filed in the Tel Aviv District Court by attorneys Yossi Abadi and Yoav Hartman that according to Schlein's agreement with Reshet, there are 116 programs left under the contract. According to Schlein, the plan stands at NIS 400,000.
The lawsuit states that at the end of 2018, the network negotiated with Schlein to sign a long-term contract that will extend the initial agreement until October 2022, with a commitment on the part of the network to double the number of plans included in the agreement and not be unilateral.
According to Schlein, the reasons for extending the contract were a network evaluation of the program and a network desire to prevent Schlein from contracting with other channels.
