The Caring App: The app that will enable remote maintenance, support and assistance for seniors (PR)
The Israeli company The Caring Company launches the CaringApp app, which provides extensive remote support and assistance to family members and relatives of the elderly.
The app was created to address the gaps created as a result of the social distance imposed during the Corona period on the elderly public in Israel, who had to deal with loneliness and drastic decline in activity, which harms their health, mental and physical condition.
However, the app will provide peace of mind to caregivers and parents on a routine basis as well.
The company has launched a fundraising campaign through the fundraising crowdfunding platform with the aim of enabling the public to take a real part and become partners in the venture.

The CaringApp app allows its users to track a variety of behavioral and physical changes that may indicate in real time the emergencies of their relatives.
The application includes, among other things:
Distress Button: Quick access to outgoing calls and emergency notifications to selected contacts.
Fall Alert: The app uses the phone's motion sensor to detect falls and will trigger an emergency call in the event of a lack of motion following a fall.
Mood monitoring: The app creates a custom voice profile and analyzes the tone of voice during phone calls, allowing you to find out if older family members are upset, angry or stressed (not available on iOS).
Inactivity Alert: The app allows you to monitor your activity habits, with the understanding that a drastic decrease in physical activity will usually indicate a deterioration in health and an immediate warning to family members in the event of significant behavioral changes.
Battery tracking: Monitor the battery level in your mobile device.
Receive the last position automatically when the battery is below 15%.

"As a company founded with a vision to develop technology that will make the world a better place with developments that contribute to family communication, we could not ignore the sharp rise in community awareness of the plight of our aging parents," said Yinon Landenberg, founder and CEO of The Caring Company. The first of its kind in the world which helps the elderly and their carers by making cheap, accessible and easy-to-use technological tools accessible.
Now more than ever, the distance between us is noticeable and can be critical in emergencies.
This concern is global, and a distribution agreement has recently been signed in Japan as well.
We are going out to mobilize masses to accelerate global distribution and with the thought that everyone will be happy to be part of a technology that does good, ”he concluded.
