A turning point to strengthen research in Italy, with 15 billion in 5 years to be foreseen in the Recovery Fund to be competitive in research and consequently in the economy: the letter sent to the Prime Minister, Giuseppe Conte, and to the Minister for 'University and research, Gaetano Manfredi, by 14 scientists, including Luciano Maiani, Giorgio Parisi, Alberto Mantovani, Massimo Inguscio and Angela Bracco.
"We need to have the courage for an ambitious change", we read and "the only realistic possibility for strengthening Italian research depends on how the Recovery Fund will be distributed".
