"The Cook," produced by Castina Communications, takes place behind the scenes of a chef's restaurant.
At its center is a relatively fascinating system between the megalomaniacal star chef Dori (Gal Toren) and the cook who starts working for him, Nimrod (Guri Alfi), who decides to leave the comfortable and abrasive job in high-tech.
Osnat (Rotem Sela) is Dori's partner in business and his connection to the ground of reality.
The series was filmed in the kitchen that remains in the space of the Herbert Samuel restaurant, which closed a few years ago with the unique equipment left in it and was previously ordered by Jonathan Rochefeld from Paris.
Some of the participants in the series are cooks and kitchen workers in reality as well, including Michael Aharoni, the son of Israel Aharoni.
The culinary consultant for the series is Chef Moshiko Gamliel, who also participates in it.
