Gendarmes from the criminal investigation unit carried out a search operation on land below the Jubillar house, across the street, in the town of Cagnac-les-Mines, a former mining town of 3000 inhabitants located near Albi.
They are looking for a possible jewel or another object that could constitute a clue, according to a source close to the investigation.
Investigators favor the criminal track.
A judicial investigation for "kidnapping, detention or sequestration" has been opened.
"It's terrible not knowing anything"
Cédric Jubillar, the husband of the nurse and father of their two children, aged 6 and a year and a half, "is acting as a civil party for himself and the minor children", has also specified his lawyer Me Jean-Baptiste Alary.
"This is the only way to know the evolution of the procedure, the biggest difficulty shared by relatives is that we do not know anything, it is terrible not to know anything", according to him.
This announcement of the constitution of civil party comes a few hours after that of a group of relatives, two cousins and three friends of Delphine Jubillar.
"They are part of the first circle, they are very shocked by this disappearance, which they consider inexplicable", declares Me Philippe Pressecq.
“They want to believe that it will reappear, they imagine everything and nothing, they do not exclude any hypothesis.
It seemed logical to them to constitute themselves in civil action in order to be able to access the file, to the investigation, to see which avenues are exploited, ”he adds.
"Comprehensive investigations"
According to this lawyer, the gendarmes of the Toulouse research section are carrying out "serious and exhaustive investigations and do not rule out any leads".
These two separate civil party constitutions are not due to discomfort in Delphine Jubillar's entourage, assures the husband's lawyer.
“There is no tension in the family, they are like us looking for legitimate answers.
The filing of a civil party is the normal and logical continuation of the procedure ”.
The investigators sounded lakes and rivers, conducted beatings in the fields and woods around the village of Cagnac-les-Mines where the young woman lived in a house with still exposed bricks, with her husband and two boys.
The house was searched and tested with Bluestar, a product that reveals bloodstains invisible to the naked eye.
It is now under seal.
