Declared range of 50 km in electric power (Photo: Manufacturer's website, manufacturer)
The Jeep Compass that has been with us since the middle of 2018 has not really managed to make a mark or penetrate significantly into the original segment to which it is headed: the group of luxury jeep-crossovers from Mercedes, Volvo, BMW and Cadillac.
Now, with new pricing for the petrol versions and the introduction of plug-in hybrid propulsion it will try to wing them from below in price as well as expand its range of competitors even in front of more popular models like Subaru Forester, Peugeot 3008 and others.
We will start with the new trim levels for the petrol version, these will include the Longitude at a price of NIS 169,000 which now comes with a 1.3 liter engine 150 hp and 27.5 kg (1.4, 170 hp and 25.5 kg engine previously) And a 6-speed transmission (9 previously).
At this finish level the safety systems include lane departure warning, automatic braking and parking sensors.
In the cabin is a 7-inch multimedia system with connectivity to Apple.
The price of this level of finish is NIS 169,000.

both versions range mode allows the battery -11.4 kilowatt-hour is 50 km undeclared, but two distinct times of acceleration to 100.

The battery and hybrid system increase the weight of the vehicle to 1,860 kg, the damage to the trunk volume is 18 liters and now stands at 420 liters.
As is customary in a plug-in car, the driving mode selector allows a choice between full electric mode, hybrid, or engine mode Charges the battery for use at a later time (relevant to places where traffic is only allowed using the electric motor).
