Trailer for the series "WandaVision" (Disney Plus)

The Corona continues to delay most of the productions that are expected to arrive in the coming years, but even so, quite a few promising series are expected to populate our knives in 2021.

The new streaming services continue to arm themselves with more and more content, and the traditional channels are not left behind either.

The highlight is our previous year's series, "Trust Sol" - if there are no unnecessary delays, its final season is expected to arrive next fall / winter.

Apart from it, new seasons of some of the favorite series on the screen, such as "Heirs", "Euphoria", "Atlanta" and even "Expert for Nothing" are also expected to arrive after the Corona delays.

But the list in front of you is about new series, and there are some very promising ones, including adaptations of iconic MDA and fantasy works like Asimov's The Institution and Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, two series by Tina Fey, a comedy detective thriller with Steve Martin. Martin Short and Selena Gomez (!), adaptations across media like the "cowboy bending" and "Halo", the story of the rise of women as strong in ancient Rome, and a lot of versions teleconferences literary works, including the creator of "normal people."

It should be noted that since the pestilence continues Delaying productions all the time, the content listed here is on limited warranty, and some of it may well be postponed indefinitely for next year. Also, at this stage it is not known which of the content on platforms not available in Israel will make their way here, but hopefully we can sunbathe our eyes in the meantime. In addition to Netflix, Amazon Prime Video also includes Hebrew subtitles, and Apple TV Plus was available in Israel at the same time as its launch in the rest of the world, also in its case with Hebrew subtitles.

When:

January, March, May and Fall 2021

Marvel addicts are in a crisis after Corona neutralized the possibility of producing the next phase in the most successful film series in the world.

Disney Plus will meet this need this year with no less than four series (five, if you count the animated series "What If", which explores alternative scenarios in this universe).

The first - and perhaps most intriguing - of them arrives as early as next Thursday - "WandaVision", which follows the experiences of Wanda Maximoff and Vision, with Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Battani returning to their cinematic roles.

The trailers present them as a kind of sitcom from the puppetry, which raises the obvious question - what the hell?

In March, "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" will arrive, focusing on the experiences of the two engineered Avengers, the Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

In the movies, the relationship between Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson was small and condensed into "Captain America: Civil War," but Marvel President Kevin Paige promises that not only will we discover more connections between them, but that the series will have a significant impact on the Marvel Universe. The game. "

Two months later she will be joined by "Loki," who will follow in the footsteps of Thor's reckless brother, always played by Tom Hiddleston;

And in the final part of the year, "Hawkeye" will arrive, with the archery protagonist starring Jeremy Renner.

Rumor has it that Disney Plus will also arrive in Israel by the end of 2021, so the chance that these series (along with hundreds of other content of the service) will be available to us already this year - definitely exists.

The funny thing is that the rights acquired by Amazon do not include the stories and characters that most audiences know, the ones depicted in the Peter Jackson film trilogy, but will take place in the second era of the universe created by Tolkien, hundreds of years before Frodo and other Middle-earth friends.

The series is based on a new idea, takes place in Victorian London and follows a group of women who gain supernatural abilities, and at the same time bitter enemies that they must stop to save the world.

Filming for the series ended in October 2020, and a month later, when there was still a lot of editing and effects work left, Widon announced that he was retiring from it, which suddenly reduces the level of expectations.

It will still be interesting to see the produce, but, you know, less.
