“From my point of view, I had the feeling of being his little wife and that everyone knew it, that it bothered no one”.
In an investigation by the newspaper Le Monde, published this Sunday, the sculptor Laurent Foulon reveals the attacks he allegedly suffered from the famous plastic artist Claude Lévêque.
An investigation was opened by the Bobigny prosecutor's office in the spring of 2019 for "rape and sexual assault on minors under 15" following these accusations.
In this river article, Laurent Foulon tells the newspaper about the influence of the plastic artist, a true figure in the artistic world.
“Lévêque had a hold on my whole family, especially my mother.
For a long time, I thought it was a chance to have met this guy, to have been able to change social class ”, he testifies.
The first touching would have taken place when he was 10, then sexual intercourse until he was 17, between Bourges, where Laurent Foulon lived, and Paris.
“I didn't express my refusal, I didn't feel authorized to do so, I couldn't say no to Lévêque.
I would have had the feeling of being stupid, corny, remembers Laurent Faulon.
He also accuses the plastic surgeon of having raped his two brothers, one of whom fell into drugs before committing suicide.
Three people overheard by the police
The plastic surgeon then lent an ideological dimension to his impulses, recalls Laurent Faulon.
“He said it was the ultimate snub to society and the greatest form of freedom.
And that people didn't accept it because they didn't want to recognize that it was love, totally selfless love.
That people had demonized this thing because they did not accept it, because it was too beautiful, ”he says.
Justice received additional testimony concerning Claude Lévêque.
Other testimonies compiled by the newspaper evoke the disturbing behavior of the artist with children.
An employee of the Parc Saint-Léger art center in Pougues-les-Eaux, in the Nièvre, thus speaks of kisses and caresses of the artist on the neck of a teenager who accompanied him during an exhibition .
Finally, Le Monde quotes a note from the Ministry of Culture, published last November, in which it announced that it had "taken the decision, following a letter from a sculptor and art teacher invoking very serious facts if they were true. and involving another artist, to report to the public prosecutor on the basis of article 40 of the code of criminal procedure ”, without however giving a name.
