Lyon: a student threatens to break out of the window, her classmates manage to prevent her

A Lyon student threatened to defenestate Tuesday, before being quickly taken care of.

An incident that comes a few days after the attempted suicide of another student in the neighboring town of Villeurbanne.

The facts took place shortly before 6 p.m. in a studio in the Les Arches d'Agrippa residence, located in the 5th arrondissement of the city, said the CROUS and the firefighters, confirming information from the regional daily Le Progrès.

“She was really on the verge of taking action.

One of his classmates, Romain Narbonnet, then reacted by posting a message on his Facebook page on the current isolation of the students.

We stay 24/7 in our university rooms measuring the same dimensions as a prison cell, however with wi-fi.

“It is vital to leave schools open, but universities and students then seem secondary.

We are then, let's say it, left on the side of the road, ”he adds.

On Tuesday, the discomfort of young people in the face of the crisis and of students in particular was at the heart of a debate in the National Assembly.

Prime Minister Jean Castex announced that he would receive representatives of the university community on Friday.
