Samsung launches today (Thursday) the flagship series Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus and Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Unlike previous years, the launch this year was brought forward by a month, with the Korean giant every year launching the series of devices during the months of February-March.



Along with the devices, the company also announces the SmartTag, a device that will help locate other accessories such as keychains, wallets, and alongside it also the Galaxy Buds Live.

The new models will be available in Israel starting today at a suggested retail price of NIS 2,999. The real news: For the first time, the S21 Ultra will come with the S-Pen, a hallmark of the Note series. And what about the 5G? The devices support, but Samsung has not yet activated them, even in the flagship models.

Meet: Galaxy S21 and S21 + devices

The S21 series will come with a 6.2-inch screen, while the S21 Ultra will come with a 6.7-inch screen.

Both models will come with a flat screen, meaning not convex like the previous models.

They will also come with a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel, a screen refresh rate of 120 Hz and support for the HDR10 Plus standard.

At the heart of the smartphone is the Exynos 2100 chipset, and 8 GB of RAM.

The smartphones support the 5th generation link, but it is not yet active in Israel.



The two models share the same photo array that includes three photo sensors: a 12-megapixel sensor with a wide 120-degree angle, with an F / 2.2 aperture key and 1.4-micron pixels, a 12-megapixel main sensor with "Dual Pixel" technology, an aperture key F / 1.8 and 1.8 micron pixels, and a 64-megapixel sensor designed for 3x optical zoom, F / 2.0 aperture key and 0.8 micron pixels.

According to Samsung Israel, the launch date is expected to be February 4, when the S21 will arrive in purple, lilac, gray, pink and white, with 128 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM at a recommended retail price of NIS 2,999. The Galaxy S21 Plus will be launched in Israel in black, oval, silver, with 256 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM at a recommended retail price of NIS 3,799.

Ultra model: Will come with the S-Pen

The flagship device, the S21 Ultra will come with a 6.8-inch screen with QHD + resolution with a curved screen, a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel, support for the HDR10 + standard, and a screen refresh rate of 120 Hz.

The good news in the S21 is the S-Pen, the hallmark of the Note series that is now also coming to Samsung's flagship device.

Similar to the S21 and S21 + models, the Ultra also shares the same processing unit of the Exynos 2100 processor, with 12GB of RAM.

The Ultra's photo array includes four rear sensors: a 12-megapixel main sensor with a 120-degree wide-angle lens and an F / 2.2 aperture key and 1.4-micron pixels, a 198-megapixel sensor with an F / 1.8 aperture key and 0.8-micron pixels. The Ultra will also arrive in Israel starting at 4 p.m. In February, and will be available in two colors: silver and black.

The recommended retail price for the 128GB storage and 12GB RAM is $ 4,699, while the 256GB storage will cost $ 5,199.
