“No excuse possible. No forgiveness possible ”loose the elected LREM of Eure, who spoke on Twitter.

It is an abrupt tweet, delivered bluntly, in the context of freeing the voice of victims of incest or rape.

LREM deputy Bruno Questel revealed on Tuesday evening to have also been one of these children mowed down by pedophilia.

“He was not from my family, he was from the village;

of these places where the family is large, he recalls.

I was 11 years old.

I never forgot.

No excuse possible.

No forgiveness possible.

No rest for the perpetrators of these acts.

You have to be indignant every second ”.

He was not from my family, he was from the village;

of those places where the family is big.

I was 11 years old.

I never forgot.

No excuse possible.

No forgiveness possible.

No rest for the perpetrators of these acts.

We must be indignant every second @jack_lang https://t.co/hzillQ0qrM

This tweet was published in reaction to an interview with Jack Lang on Europe 1, when asked about the Olivier Duhamel affair.

In her book La Familia Grande, Camille Kouchner recounted the abuse her brother suffered from when he was 13, accusing his stepfather.

Asked about his lack of reaction after these revelations, Jack Lang retorted that he could "not be outraged every minute", before condemning: "It is a shame what has been accomplished by Olivier Duhamel.

There is no word for incest, pedophilia, it's revolting ”.

"I wanted to say stop to a form of speech that I find unbearable"

Bruno Questel therefore wanted to share his experience: “I wanted through this tweet to say stop to a form of speech that I find unbearable, according to which at the time freedom in all its dimension could justify overflows of this kind, he explains to France Bleu.

When you have been a victim of that, there is not a second when something, a fact, a word, a gesture, a news, does not bring you back to that.

Including at the precise moment.

These are lives that are crushed, we live with that all our life.

No, there is no room for forgiveness, no room for forgetting, you have to be outraged every second, not to forget the victims.

It cannot be fixed ”.

On Twitter, testimonials of support poured in.

“Bravo for your courage”, we can read, or “I would never have believed in my lifetime to hear and see the taboo of rape and incest denounced, even less in the National Assembly by one of its representatives "," Your testimony is courageous and moving and gives hope to the victims "...

Camille Kouchner's denunciation paved the way: on social networks, the word has since been released with the hashtag #MeTooInceste, heir to #MeToo, which denounced assault and sexual harassment of women from 2017, in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein case.
