The National Academy of Medicine recommended this Friday to avoid speaking and telephoning in public transport, even masked, but rejected the new recommendation to abandon homemade masks in the face of the arrival of more contagious variants of the virus of Covid-19.

Following the recommendations of the High Council of Public Health (HSCP), the Minister of Health Olivier Véran called on Thursday, January 21, the French to no longer use the homemade masks deemed insufficiently filtering, nor the less filtering industrial fabric masks (known as of "

” of the new variants, the Academy recommends “
