Actress Asia Argento claims that director Rob Cohen ("Fast and Furious") drugged her and raped her while working on the movie "XXX" in 2002, in which she starred alongside Wayne Diesel and Samuel Jackson.
Argento, one of the main complainants against Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein and one of the prominent voices of the MeToo movement, said that 18 years ago Cohen launched her with a rape drug and then sexually assaulted and raped her.
"This is the first time I'm talking about Cohen," she told the Italian newspaper Corriere de la Sara.
"He had a full bottle of this drug. At the time I did not understand what had happened. I woke up naked in his bed."
Argento added that the full details of the attack will appear in her autobiography which is expected to be released tomorrow in Italy.
Rob Cohen's spokesman vehemently denied the allegations.
"Mr. Cohen denies any allegation that he was sexually assaulted. When the two worked together there was an excellent working relationship and he saw Argento as a friend.

In 2019, the Huffington Post reported that Cohen sexually assaulted a woman whose name was not revealed.
The woman said that in 2015 she met with Cohen to discuss a TV show and at the end of the meeting she was left unconscious.
Cohen then denied the allegations.
About two and a half years ago, the New York Times reported that Argento herself sexually assaulted a boy in 2013 and even reached a financial settlement with him outside the courtroom.
According to documents that reached the New York Times, the filmmaker slept with Jimmy Bennett when he was only 17 years old and eventually reached an arrangement with him according to which she would pay him $ 380,000.
