Seventeen days after her disappearance, on January 4 in Paris, Diary Sow had given his news to Serigne Mbaye Thiam, Minister of National Education of Senegal and "godfather" of the young woman since the death of her father in April latest.
It was finally he who collected it, announced Monday the diplomatic and consular authorities of Senegal in France, reports BFMTV.
According to their press release, Diary Sow "has been found safe and sound."
"She is presently in the company of her godfather Mr. Serigne Mbaye Thiam".
The Senegalese Consulate General in Paris thanks "the French government for its efficient assistance as well as the entire Senegalese community in France, in particular the students, for their mobilization".
In her exchanges with her uncle a few days ago, the young student had specified having "left enough clues behind (her) so that we know that (she) was leaving (her) voluntarily".
“I'm not hiding.
I am not running away.
See it as a sort of salutary respite in my life, ”she wrote.
