The number of hospitalized Covid-19 patients continued to increase on Wednesday, with more than 27,000 patients including more than 3,100 in intensive care, a figure also on the rise.

Hospitals counted 27,169 people sick with Covid-19 on Wednesday (+128 compared to the previous day), including 1,931 new hospitalizations in 24 hours.
3,107 (+26) patients are in intensive care and intensive care, including 318 new admissions within 24 hours.
Public Health France has announced 351 additional deaths in hospital in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths caused by the epidemic in France to 74,456 (including 52,218 in hospital).
The number of new Covid-19 contaminations recorded since yesterday is also up with 26,916 cases against just over 22,000 the day before.
The positivity rate of people tested has been stable for several days, at 7.1%, according to Public Health France.
