In an Instagram post, the Jewish American actress Owen Rachel Wood revealed the horrific mask of abuse she went through at the hands of singer Marilyn Manson.

The two were in a relationship that began in 2007.

Wood was then 19 and Manson - or Brian Warner by his real name - was exactly double her age, 38. In 2010 the two became engaged and then also separated.

Wood now explicitly reveals that this relationship was accompanied by abuse.

"The name of my abuser is Brian Warner, also known to the world as Marilyn Manson," Wood wrote yesterday (Monday).

"He started cultivating me when I was a girl and abused me terribly for years. He brainwashed me and I was manipulated to be submissive. I ended up living in fear of revenge, slander or extortion. I am here to expose this dangerous man and point the finger at the many industries that allow him to continue. "Before he destroys another life. I stand with the many victims who will no longer be silent."

Wood has previously hinted about the true nature of her relationship with Manson.

In 2019 she testified before the California Senate to advance a law she had initiated, under which the statute of limitations on domestic violence would be extended to five years, instead of three years as it had been before.

Wood said in her testimony that she suffered abuse at the hands of an ex-spouse, without naming him.

"I mustered the courage to leave a few times, but he would constantly call my house and threaten to kill himself," the actress revealed.

"One time I came back to try to neutralize the situation, he flanked me in our bedroom and asked me to kneel. Then he tied me up with my hands and feet. As soon as I was restrained he hit me and electrocuted sensitive parts of my body with a torture device called 'violet wand'. "For me to prove my loyalty. The pain was excruciating. I felt like I had left my body and part of me died that day."

In addition, in previous interviews, Wood said she was raped twice in her life - once by her partner and another time by a bar owner.

Wood's Instagram post caused four more women to reveal that they had experienced similar behavior on Manson's part - including mental, physical and sexual abuse.

A woman named Sarah McNeil revealed that Manson slammed her against the wall and threatened to hit her in the face with a baseball bat he was holding in his hand.

Even after their relationship ended, she still suffers from post-trauma and mental problems she has not experienced before.

Another woman named Gabriella said Manson used to tie up and rape her many times.

She would weep bitterly on the floor and he would tell her that this way he loved her.

In addition he forced her to consume more drugs in doses that her body could not handle.

According to her, following the relationship with him, she tried to commit suicide.

Following the allegations, Manson was fired from the Loma Vista label, with whom he has worked since 2015 and released three albums.

"In light of the troubling allegations made by Owen Rachel Wood and other women who named Marilyn Manson as abusive, Loma Vista will stop promoting his current album immediately," the statement said.

"Because of the developments involved, we have also decided not to work with Marilyn Manson on any future projects."

Manson was later also fired from the series starring him.

The Stars network has announced that it is mimicking the presence of future episodes of "American Gods."

"Due to the allegations made against Marilyn Manson, we have decided to remove his appearance from the remaining episode, which is scheduled to air later this season," the cable network said.

"Stars stands unquestionably with all the victims and survivors of the abuse."

Manson was also scheduled to appear in two future episodes of AMC's horror series "Creepshow," but it announced that the episodes would not air.
