It is time for the new Aprilia Tuono 660 to arrive on the market, bringing the splendor of the Tuono V4 to the mid-range engine.
The 'younger' sister of the Tuono V4 1100, the new 660 combines manageable power and lightness, all designed for great performance but within everyone's reach, with refined chassis and premium contents that include an electronic control package derived directly from the Tuono V4.
The Tuono 660 shares with the RS 660 the primary objective of the project, namely that of a motorcycle with a precise weight / power ratio, identified in the end as 183 kg in running order for 95 HP of power.
Tuono 660 is also dedicated to new motorcyclists, as it is also available in a 35 kW version, but also to younger people growing from lower displacements, looking for a high-level sports naked.
The Tuono 660's style is the aggressive and sporty one of the Tuono family, with small surfaces that enhance its dynamic character even when stationary.
Like the RS 660, the new Tuono also adopts the innovative concept of the double fairing with the function of an aerodynamic appendage, born from research in the wind tunnel, in addition to the triple LED headlight unit equipped with DRL daytime running lights.
The high handlebar and the chassis dimensions differentiate the Tuono 660 from the RS, rewarding total control, responsiveness and handling, thanks to a different offset of the fork plate.
The latest generation twin-cylinder front-speed engine is the result of the experience gained on the powerful Aprilia V4, from which it takes up the basic construction philosophy and technical concepts.
The electronic equipment is first in class, with the electronic Ride-by-Wire accelerator it allows to manage the APRC suite of electronic controls which includes multilevel traction control, anti wheelie, cruise control, engine brake and selectable engine maps, to which ABS is also added.
Five riding modes, three dedicated to the road and two to the track.
Tuono 660 is available in three color variants: Concept Black, Iridium Gray and the brand new Acid Gold.
