The one unveiled in a global event via streaming is an Audi that the world has never seen before and that shows with authority the plans of the House of the Four Rings to shape an exciting and fascinating future of mobility.

This refined high-tech Gran Turismo will be introduced to the market next spring in two variants with fully electric propulsion and all-wheel drive, the e-Tron GT Quattro and the RS e-Tron GT.

This new model - which uses the J1 platform developed together with Porsche - will represent the spearhead of electrification according to the House of the Four Rings and offers customers a set of features that can place the e-Tron GT at the top among the performance electric models, both among those that are 'tailor-made' for long journeys and great driving emotions, as underlined by that GT threshold which - born in the 1950s - identified almost pioneering models in which the performance of engines and frames created for competitions were married with the desire to make long journeys with better comfort than other sports cars. Defined by Marc Lichte, Head of Audi Design, as "the most beautiful car I've ever designed", the e-Tron GT is 4.99 meters long, 1.96 meters wide, only 1.41 meters high and offers a luggage with a volume of 405 liters.

Both variants of the e-Tron GT range are powerful, fast and dynamic and move like lightning bolts with zero local emissions. The exterior of the e-Tron GT - underlines Audi - is a dynamic work of art, with every surface, line and element blended harmoniously to achieve functionality, character and perfect aerodynamics (Cx equal to just 0.24).

Produced at the carbon neutral Boellinger Hoefe site of Audi Sport GmbH where the Audi R8 supercar is also born, the new electric flagship offers in the two variants a maximum power - in Boost mode - of 530 and 646 Hp respectively and a torque that can reach up to 830 Nm. E-Tron GT is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.3 seconds and from 0 to 200 km / h in under 12 seconds, with a self-limited top speed of 250 km / h, More highlight the presence of the new generation of Quattro electric all-wheel drive with torque vectoring which permanently and fully adjusts the distribution of thrust between the axles, with five times the speed of a traditional mechanical system.

Audi e-Tron Gt is characterized by further refinements aimed at strengthening dynamic performance: this is the case of the carbon roof - which contributes to the 50:50 weight distribution between front and rear - the integral steering, which debuts in a model of the range. e-Tron, but also the adaptive triple chamber air suspension, the electronic locking of the rear differential and the availability of carbon ceramic brakes.

The cockpit, in perfect Audi style, combines the state of the art of digital technology and infotainment with specific applications designed to accompany the values of this 'top' electric. This is the case of leather-free upholstery, and other elements made with a high percentage of recycled material. Another novelty is the digital sound that 'copies' the delivery of the powertrain and adds emotions to the powerful acceleration, Or even the Audi Matrix LED headlights with laser spots, capable of doubling the range of the high beams.

Audi e-Tron GT is credited with an autonomy in the WLTP cycle of up to 488 kilometers, a result which contributes to the active aerodynamics and the energy recovery system capable of managing up to 265 kW of electric power, that is a value superior to a Formula E single-seater. The refined thermal management works in conjunction with the e-Tron Trip Planner itinerary planning system, which allows you to instantly check how many recharges are needed to reach a destination, and precondition the battery in anticipation of refueling 'at 800 Volts in direct current (DC) with powers up to 270 kW.

It is thus possible to recharge 100 kilometers of autonomy in 5 minutes and, if there is more time, to reach 80% of the energy in less than 23 minutes. In addition to direct current, the Audi e-Tron GT is rechargeable as standard in alternating current on AC columns at 22 kW. The House of the Four Rings offers customers simplified access to over 200,000 stations in 26 European countries through the Audi e-Tron Charging Service which integrates - with discounted rates - the Ionity high-speed network. A single card and a single contract are sufficient for a 'full' of energy. At home, Audi facilitates electric mobility thanks to the partnership with Enel X and Alpiq.
