The Runlight Group announces today (Thursday) that it has been elected the official representative of the leading Chinese cellular manufacturer OPPO and the launch of the brand's official activity in Israel.
OPPO, the fourth largest smartphone maker in the world, recorded a 65% increase in its market share last year, after a jump of 417% in 2019, which established its position in the top ten of cellular manufacturers.
"We work closely with Israeli high-tech companies, and have adopted the advanced technology developed in Israel, in order to provide high performance in its products. This is also what makes the brand one with an 'Israeli soul' inside, we were told at Oppo.
" We are proud to attach. We have a growing and innovative brand like OPPO and we strongly believe in the enormous potential of activity in the Israeli market.
This is a welcome and synergistic expansion of our cellular division, along with the activities of the other technology brands in the group, "said Avishai Paris, CEO of the Runlight Group.

TECH has learned that the first smartphone that Oppo intends to launch in Israel is the A93.
This is an intermediate device intended for the young audience and comes with a 6.43-inch screen, FullHD + resolution, a square camera array that includes a main sensor of 48 megapixels, and 3 additional sensors that include a wide lens and for taking deep pictures.
At the heart of the smartphone is the Mediatek chipset, to which 8 GB of RAM is attached.
In the second phase of the launch, the company will launch the flagship devices from the "Find" series in Israel.
At this stage it is not clear when the launch will take place in Israel, but there is no doubt that Oppo intends to enter Israel with Shiomi and Realme, which operate under the same emphasis: high quality at low prices, and with the right pricing, we may see another decline in smartphone prices in this category.
