The police were notified around 10:30 p.m. by security guards.

At that time, the party gathered around fifty participants despite the curfew, some of whom were visibly very alcoholic, as explained by the Departmental Directorate of Public Security (DDSP) of Bouches-du-Rhône.

Curdled on arrival

When the police arrived there, a hundred people were gathered. The police were taken to task and stoned by some participants, "who seemed to want to fight," said France Bleu. They responded with tear gas canisters. One person was arrested for throwing projectiles. Calm finally returned around 1 a.m.
