We tested a streamer for NIS 300
The variety of streamers in the country is concentrated in Apple, Shiomi and those that come with the TV service provider.
GOtv, the home brand of the importer Draco, which offers an Android TV streamer for NIS 300, recently joined this category.

The various streaming services that have started operating in Israel in recent years have made streamers an elegant solution for watching television.
Instead of renting a converter from the TV service company or buying a new TV (for those who do not own a smart TV or one that includes the TV provider's app), you can buy a streamer.
In the Israeli market, there are mainly two streamers: Apple TV and Shiomi Mi Box S (or older models).
In addition, there are the streamers marketed by Partner TV, Cellcom TV and yes Plus.
The one who wants to enter this field now is Draco, an importer of streamers from some of the television providers in the country.
Draco has begun marketing the SEI Robotics SEI600 under the GOtv brand.
"Compact and thin streamer" (Photo: Walla! NEWS system, Tzachi Hoffman)
Design: Basic and thin
The GOtv is a compact and thin streamer.
It is not particularly prominent and can be placed anywhere under the TV, without it taking up space.
Indeed, its red central light bulb is a bit annoying and could have been replaced with a more subtle light, but that's not critical.
SEI has integrated the non-touching connections, such as the HDMI and power on the back of the streamer, while the card reader and USB are located on the side.
Like many other streamers, the sign itself is plastic and feels simple.
The company has incorporated lots of dedicated buttons that help to use the product comfortably.
A button for Google's voice assistant, quick access to Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Google Play, YouTube and also access to the company's learning platform "classi" (a study service that the educational institution should support) and SHOPI.
You can also find buttons for controlling the volume and turning the TV on / off.
This is not the most beautiful sign there is, but it certainly makes the job easy to use.

"Watching 4K, Sound in Dolby Digital Plus" (Photo: Walla! NEWS system, Tzachi Hoffman)
Hardware: 4K viewing, Dolby Digital Plus sound
The GoTV comes with an Amlogic S905X3 processor, with 2GB of DDR3 working memory and 8GB of internal storage.
There is support for 4K resolution viewing, H.265 encoding and support for Dolby Digital Plus for audio.
In terms of performance, the streamer responded quickly, apps like Netflix went up immediately and apps from Israeli services suffered from their normal operating times.
Interface: Android TV version 10
Unlike most of the smart TVs and streamers I used, which included the Android TV operating system in version 9, the SEI incorporated Android 10 here.
Still nice to get a newer operating system version.
Android TV offers access to most, if not all, TV services in Israel, I watched yes Plus, Cellcom TV and of course Netflix and YouTube.
All of these services worked smoothly.
"A big advantage of GOtv over the Mi Box S is the LAN input" (Photo: Walla! NEWS system, Tzachi Hoffman)
Connections: There is a LAN input
In terms of connections, a big advantage of GOtv over the Mi Box S is the LAN input, which allows you to connect to a router with a cable and not just rely on WiFi communication.
Similar to Shiomi's Streamer, here too you get WiFi 5 communication and Bluetooth 4.2.
There are also HDMI, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, micro SD reader and AV connection.
Bottom line, the GOtv is a streamer that is sold at an affordable price, including the Android TV operating system in version 10, offers a LAN connection and also a remote control with lots of shortcut buttons.
Price: 300 NIS (Draco official importer)
