The alleged murderer was taken from his cell at the Strasbourg remand center to attend.

"The investigating magistrate would like to verify whether Mr. Reiser's statements are compatible with the findings that the forensic pathologist and the morpho-analyst may make," said Me Francis Metzger, Jean-Marc Reiser's lawyer, confirming information from the Latest News from Alsace.

It is in this studio, located on the sixth floor, that Sophie Le Tan was killed on September 7, 2018, recalls the regional daily.

"We are anxious for the trial to take place so that the family can begin their work of mourning", declared, for his part, Gérard Welzer, the lawyer for the Le Tan family.

But this reconstitution "will not change anything", he said, in the face of all the evidence already collected during the investigation.

He had described a "business of seduction" which "went badly", according to the words of his lawyer, Me Pierre Giuriato.

While the young woman of 20 years had "rejected" his advances, he had "entered a phase of frustration, anger, rage", which had "materialized by violent blows".

For the lawyer, the confessions of his client are part of "willful violence resulting in death without intention of giving it", facts less severely punished criminally than murder, which involves premeditation.
