Covid-19: Mexico exceeds the mark of 2 million cases

Mexico has passed the threshold of two million cases of Covid-19 since the start of the pandemic, which has killed nearly 176,000 people in the country, according to the latest official report published on Tuesday. A total of 2,004,575 cases and 175,986 deaths have been reported in Mexico, including 8,683 new cases and 1,329 deaths in the last 24 hours, the health ministry said. Read also: Mexico

Mexico is the third most bereaved country in the world by Covid-19, behind the United States and Brazil.
