Case of "the university of rape": "I was his sex slave"

2021-02-24T16:10:45.924Z

The guru of the "University of Relations" will once again be tried for rape and abuse of weaknesses on four other of his former ade

“From the moment he told me I was his share of the soul, I had to stay almost 24 hours a day with him for five years, which ended up locking down the system of hold.

"Accused twice, then acquitted, Sandra,

(Editor's note: the first names of the victims have been changed),

is now a civil party in the so-called" University of rape case. "

"

His former "companion", Gabriel Loison, 81, is once again referred to the Loire-Atlantique criminal court for "rape of vulnerable people", "complicity in rape in a meeting" or even "aggravated abuse of weakness".

In front of him, four former followers, including Sandra, who considers to have been "the sex slave" of the guru.

Itinerary of a young woman who passed from executioner to victim in the eyes of justice.

The guru sees in the young woman "a lost one"

Sandra was 31 years old when in 2005, a friend convinced her to go to Morocco for an internship at the “University of Relations”.

The young woman meets Gabriel Loison there, the founder who advocates “the study of the living planet and the human being”.

The man, who presents himself as an anthropologist, psychologist, sociologist and “alchemist through his previous lives”, immediately sees the young woman as a “lost”, he said to another victim.

To the investigators of the Central Office for the Repression of Violence against Persons (OCRVP), Sandra confided years later: “To sum up, the theme of this internship was to make us come to the conclusion that everything we knew was false. .

"

For Sandra, it was during the following internship, in Costa Rica, that the trap was closed.

The followers then find themselves "in an unfamiliar environment, with loss of reference points and a very sustained rhythm of the days".

For those who are in a relationship, contact is prohibited.

Sandra's relationship with her partner deteriorates.

21-day fasting and sodomy sessions

At first reluctant, the young woman agrees during the summer of 2006 to spend three weeks alone with the guru at his home.

For this "personal initiation", the victim must spend 10,000 euros.

There, the sexual abuse begins: Gabriel Loison kisses her "to make her feel the state of a woman" then forces her to have sex.

"He had, he said, celestial guides who had told him that I was his share of the soul, this implied that he had to construct me sexually", she repeated to the investigators.

The victim then describes repeated and painful “sexual assaults” with a ban on treatment for injuries caused by the violence of these relationships.

According to her testimony, Gabriel subjects her, like others, to extreme experiences such as a 21-day fast in March 2009 during which she melts 10 kg in a few days.

Or sodomy sessions practiced to "free them from their fear".

Tens of thousands of euros paid to Gabriel Loison

In addition to a sexual grip, Gabriel Loison also requires his followers to get their hands on their bank accounts.

Sandra, who was not allowed to work and was receiving RSA, mentions between 25,000 and 30,000 euros borrowed from relatives and paid to the guru.

Throughout these years, the civil parties have thus given several tens of thousands of euros.

What constitutes an abuse of weakness, according to justice.

The hold is such that Sandra is even, during a first investigation, considered as an accomplice of the guru that she "followed everywhere".

Two victims thus describe "an authoritarian woman who supported Loison and had been a driving force" during these courses.

While another is said to be "subjugated by the discourse" of Sandra, "model of femininity" who expressed herself with ease and thus "reinforced" the hold of Gabriel Loison on others.

"She was formatted by the guru, she was convinced to be his part of the soul and that if she left him, she would disintegrate", comments her lawyer, Me Olivier Morice.

In 2010, Loison, still in full possession of his power of control, splits a book simply entitled "The idiots call me the Guru".

"A recognition by justice of the phenomenon of sectarian drift"

In March 2011, it is the tumble.

Gabriel Loison and Sandra are arrested in Spain and handed over to the French authorities, after complaints from former trainees, including a 13-year-old girl.

Sandra is finally separated from her guru.

But, considered as the "companion" of the octogenarian, she is prosecuted at his side twice for abuse of weakness and rape at the Loire-Atlantique assizes then Ille-et-Vilaine on appeal.

Twice, she is acquitted, while Gabriel Loison receives 15 years in prison on appeal.

Sandra, who "is rebuilding herself little by little", according to her lawyer, will slip again into the walls of an assize court.

But this time on the bench of civil parties, as a victim.

For the acts committed against Sandra and three other followers, Gabriel Loison is again referred to the criminal court of Loire-Atlantique.

Concerning Sandra, justice considers that the guru acted while knowing that she was particularly vulnerable.

“Acquitted twice, my client finds herself as a civil party in a new procedure. It is a recognition by the justice of the phenomenon of sectarian drift, of the influence, the constraint and the indoctrination of which it was the object ”, welcomes Me Olivier Morice. Contacted, Gabriel Loison's lawyer did not follow up. The date of his third trial at the assizes has not yet been set.
