“Perseverance”: Rover sends high

The Mars rover "Perseverance" is supposed to search for traces of former life on the red planet. Shortly after landing, it initially thrills astro fans with razor-sharp images.

The US rover "Perseverance" has sent a high-resolution 360-degree panorama image of Mars.

The robot took the picture on Sunday by rotating a camera attached to a mast on its surface once through 360 degrees, the US space agency Nasa announced on Wednesday (local time).
